Her version of the Chopin Sonata is one of the best performances of the piece, doing justice to every aspect of the music, including a real thriller of a finale. The remaining Chopin selection covers his entire range from the relaxed lyricism of the Nocturne to the intense drama of the Ballade and Polonaise, all vividly realized in these performances.
